Makeup Favourites – September

Happy Sunday Lovelies! I will get straight into it…

Fenty Beauty – for those who have been living under a rock, Robyn Rihanna Fenty has released her very own makeup line, this collection specifically focused on glowing skin and diversity.

The collection includes Match Stix (concealers, highlighters and contour sticks), Killawatt (Highlighters), Brushes, Blotting Paper, Setting Powder, Primer and last but most certainly not least, 40 shades of foundations.

Catering to the needs of women of all colours, I have watched reviews of users who have found their perfect foundation in both the lightest and the darkest shades (and it’s all the kinds of happiness you can think of).

As I just purchased a foundation from Elizabeth Arden (and also I was not going to physically be there to test out the products) – I stuck to the products that didn’t require a shade match – other than the match stix (which, by the way, is a perfect match! And this is all because I held my forearm up to my computer screen haha).

See my review of the products below.

I used the primer (like butter on my face!!!) along with the Match Stix (in sand) for coverage and the Match Stix (in Mocha) to contour.

The Killawatt Highlighter in Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal – and I was shining like a glazed donut – I don’t think photos do it any justice!

I am someone who loves a good quality product – this is beyond what I thought it would be.

It’s E V E R Y T H I N G! Rihanna, you done did it!

The Match Stix is a lightweight but creamy consistency, it went on smoothly and was easy to blend.

I loved that it provided the right amount of coverage – like I could wear it without foundation.

The pressed powder was light and there was no residue left on my skin – I have this with the loose powder I have (it isn’t bad or noticeable, but it does require a little more blending/dusting than a compact powder provides).

Last but not least, that highlight!!! Noor in a little container – it’s buildable (which is great for going from day to night and you don’t want to beam like the sun while at the office) and also no matter which way you move, it just catches the light!
